Q: Is it safe to use my credit card over the web with Schoener Custom Music?
 
A: Yes, PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log in to our site, our server checks that you're using an approved browser - one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.

Once your information reaches us, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. Our servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the internet, so your private information is available only to authorized computers.
 
 

Q:  What payment forms do you accept?
 
A:  With PayPal, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express, as well as electronic checks, debit cards, and PayPal account balances. Purchase orders may be FAXed to us as well as long as you are a larger educational, musical, or religious organization. Please see our How To Order page for ordering instructions.

Q:  Do you ship overseas?
 
A:  As of August 2005, we are not officially operational for overseas shipping however, if you contact us by phone or email, we may be able to help you!

Q:  How long until I receive my order?
 
A:  If you have ordered by credit card online, your order will be processed by USPS Priority Mail and should be received in 2-3 business days.
    If you have FAXed us a school purchase order, your order may be processed by UPS Ground and be received in  5-7 business days.

Q:  Do you charge sales tax?
 
A:  We charge 6% sales tax only for orders shipped to Pennsylvania.  We do not charge sales tax on shipping and handling, only on the price of the items you order.

Q:  What if an item is on backorder?
 
A:  We will notify you by email if an item is on "backorder" for an extended period of time.  A backordered item means that we are in the process of reprinting it and it will be available within a reasonable amount of time.  Unless requested otherwise by email, we will hold your entire order until all items have been received.  We do this to minimize shipping charges.  If you wish to have your order shipped in 2 separate shipments, we will do that at your request.  However we will charge you separately for shipping.  Again, our shipping charges are minimal, but we try to economize in favor of our customers.

Q:  What is your policy on returning items?
 
A:  We are committed to making sure you are 100% satisfied with your purchase however we are not able to accept returns of arrangements ordered.  There are possible exceptions to this rule if we shipped you the wrong item.  In this case you may contact us before returning your order for a return authorization number.  Contact us with this information first by clicking here.  All returns are at the sole discretion of Schoener Custom Music.

Q:  What is your Privacy Policy?
 
A:  We are HIGHLY committed to keeping your information that you give us when you make a purchase from Schoener Custom Music!  We will only use your information to contact you about your order, to reply to an email you sent us, or to send you periodic promotions (which you may opt out of at any time).
