"...just starting an instrumental program...and needed some music to grab the students' attention immediately.
I used "Ode to Louie" for my spring concert and not only was it the
hit of the concert, I had 24 new students sign up for my summer band camp and will be joining my concert band this fall! Keep
up the great work, it truly pays dividends!

"...My personal favorite was "Londonderry Air". By playing that piece I was able
to get six of my first year clarinets to play above the break--in fact the solo in the middle went to a first year student
who could cross over without much problem. Most people didn't realize how hard that was but the Jr. High and High School director
noticed and were very excited!"

"...the favorite of the kids and the crowd was "Ode to Louie". ... a good 6th
grade sax player stood up and walked to center stage until he was right next to me and pushed me out of the way. He then took
over the conducting and brought in the rest of the band. The battle was going his way. Then I came over, got rid of him and
brought in the flutes and clarinets.... we got a standing ovation! My principal ... and superintendent LOVED the show.
These were great pieces -- ...get more out there because I'm sold on them!"
